I get this error Warning: mysql_unbuffered_query(): Unable to save result set in /var/www/htdocs/online/pk/func/db.inc.php on line 30 when running this query INSERT INTO mo_view SET name='', clearname='', description='', documentation='', mother_obj='2' thru this line of php (line 30 of db.inc.php): if ($retval = mysql_query($sql)) It used to work in php 4.0.3pl. Now I have 4.3.1 and it throws the error. I didn't change anything. What's wrong? *confused* running SELECT statements thru the same line 30 works out just right. Never the less, I want to know if the sql statement works - whether or not it is a SELECT or INSERT or UPDATE or whatever. In other words I want $retval to be FALSE when the query fails and TRUE when it succeeds. (Like the documentation says). Any ideas where my error lies? - THX Matt -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.mysql-query.php http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+29731 http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+29731 http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+29731
