A big thank you to "korn_cant_spell at hotmail dot com". His advice helped me out! His
words are worth repeating:
"dont forget that if a php site appears to be failing even though you;re *sure* you installed
it right this time, it could be cached. happened to me"
I couldn't figure out why it didn't work, but it did! It was just that the faulty page was
cached...(turn the caching off in your browser settings).
