If you are experiencing TRUNCATING issues trying to return more than 4096 bytes on a VARCHAR field
try converting it to text:
CONVERT(TEXT, Yourfield)
EX:
$sql->db_select("SELECT cc_main.cc_entry_id, CONVERT(TEXT, cc_main.comment) FROM
cc_main");
