to drop common HTML tags <br>
$rawhtml = eregi_replace('<[^>]+>', '', $html);<br>
remeber use [^>] for non-greedy search;<br>
(but it maybe a problem that it also drop <img> and <a href> tags, which maybe a useful
infoamtion to get)<br>
