I just tested some of my code(which does use "[]" in the name of an object in a form) and
"This Page Is Valid HTML 4.01 Transitional!"
When I removed the Quotes, it invalidated the code, and said that any characters other than
alphanmumerics and hypens and stuff must be enclosed in quotes. So doing
name="selectname[]" is just fine, at least according to the W3C validator.
