Never never never compare floats for equality! Even a >= is asking too much of any binary
computer (that's pretty much all of them ;-). It will sometimes work, but the best you can hope
for is a subtle bug that will occasionally cause non-deterministic behaviour.
Floats must only ever be used for proper inequalities.
