trying to create gdbm databases.. after overcoming hours of frustrating difficulties, i manged to
get data written to the disk and read back out it
but the dadbase file created is always at least 49,000bytes big, no matter how little data i put in.
the file also seems to contain random chunks of memory, previous programs i was working on etc
