note 30842 added to ref.sockets

Could you experts help make a php function for FTP monitoring? It's like that: I need a page that would tell me if some FTPs are online or offline (this is the main part), then it would be ok if i could see how many users are on FTP and how many places are left (secondary objective), and just for fun, the page would draw a graph of uploads and downloads (second secondary objective :] ).
