I am using PHP (4.2.2) with MySQL (3.22.55) & Apache (1.3.27) on Linux (?) and I keep getting
'too many connections'. 'max_user_connections' is 16.
I connect at the start of my scripts then disconnect, at
the end of every script. I use the standard mysql_connect()
and mysql_close() functions, but have my doubts about
the close after reading this page & others.
Can anyone help? I have little affect on the configuration
on the host, cant change php.ini, safe mode is on, can't
telnet, etc etc
I am finding it very frustrating, HELP !
