note 31161 added to function.odbc-connect

System windows 2000 Pro DB: SQL Server 2000 WebServer: Apache 2 PHP: 4.3.0 First i tried to get to the db with the "mssql" module to connect to the db, and than tried with the odbc connection. But both dont work, i set up a System DSN and even a User DSN but all i get is "supplied resource is not a valid ODBC-Link resource in" I tried the sollution, providing all information to the odbc_connection like "Driver={SQL Server};Server=ServerName;Database=DBName;" again this error mentioned above, what i do wrong.
