I have done a lot of web programming in Ms technologies. One thing that I have learned and that
applies to php too, keep the access to the php engine limited. aka
instead of going
<? php echo "<p> Hello World" ?>
go
<p> <? php echo "Hello World" ?></p>
In this example it may seem trivial, but when creating complex tables and layouts, it does put
un-intended load on the system sending out static html tags by dynamic statements.
