Apache + mod_ssl/OpenSSL +PHP3/MySQL/MSSQL/IMAP
(on Redhat 6.2)
Prerequisites:
- Apache should be installed to /usr/local/apache (www.apache.org)
- MySQL is installed under /usr/local/mysql (www.mysql.com)
- OpenSSL is installed under /usr/local/ssl (www.openssl.org)
- Freetds is installed under /usr/local/freetds (www.freetds.org)
- IMAP is installed. Put c-client/c-client.a to /usr/local/lib/libc-client.a and
copy rfc822.h, mail.h and linkage.h to /usr/local/include (or some other directory
as you wish.) (ftp://ftp.cac.washington.edu/imap/)
Steps:
# Extract the packages
gzip -d -c apache_1.3.12.tar.gz | tar xvf -
gzip -d -c modssl-2.6.6-1.3.12.tar.gz | tar xvf -
gzip -d -c php-4.0.2.tar.gz | tar xvf -
gzip -d -c freetds-0.5.0.tgz | tar xvf -
# Install FreeTDS 0.50
1) ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/freetds --with-tdsver=4.2 --enable-dmbfix
2) make
3) make install
4) Insert "/usr/local/freetds/lib" in /etc/ld.so.conf and run "ldconfig"
command.
# Pre-configure Apache for PHP4's configuration step
1) ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/apache
# Configure PHP4 and apply it to the Apache source tree
1) CFLAGS='-O2 -I/usr/local/ssl/include' \
./configure --with-apache=../apache_1.3.12 \
--with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql \
--enable-momory-limit=yes --enable-debug=no \
--with-imap --enable-track-vars --with-sybase=/usr/local/freetds
2) Edit ext/sysbase/php_sybase_db.c by change every "dbopen" in the file to
"tdsdbopen".
3) Remark "DBSETLCHARSET" in php_sysbase_db.c (You can skip this step, if you can
pass
the compile process. I can't!)
4) make
5) make install
# Build/install Apache with mod_ssl and PHP4
1) SSL_BASE=/usr/local/ssl \
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/apache \
--enable-module=ssl \
--activate-module=src/modules/php4/libphp4.a \
--enable-module=php4
2) make
3) make certificate TYPE=custom
4) make install
# That's all!! # - This is my case only! :)
