Hi mike from prag,
your solution is great. I was looking for days to find a way, cause function_exists does not work
with GD in most cases.
Now i use the following code:
$imTest1 = @imagecreatetruecolor(12,12);
if ($imTest1) {echo "Der Befehl imagecreatetruecolor funktioniert auf Ihrem Server, and will be
used"; $versionGD = 2; }
else { $imTest2 = @imagecreate(12,12);
if ($imTest2) {echo "Der Befehl imagecreate funktioniert auf Ihrem Server, and will be
used"; $versionGD = 1; }
else {echo "<br>the GD library seems not to be installed on your Server - sorry
that will not work...<br>"; $versionGD = 0; } }
