Well, I start using PHP in July 1998, and I use assembly langage and C since 1987. THE BEST langage
don't exist. Each langage has its own "good" and "bad" features.
The best thing to do is to be "opened mind", learn many langages, and blend them.
Dithering is possible in Basic, but is quite faster in assembly. Using kilo-lines of EREG is
possible in PHP but is better in Perl (more compact and faster). But if you want to create an html
file with css and so on, in Perl, you'll cry your mother!
So, blend the code! Use PHP calling Perl when necessary, and build your own ".so" LIB in
C. Some use ASP? Yes, I do sometimes. Also Coldfusion and Miva. Which is the best? The one that is
right for the thinks I've to do.
Actually, I'm blending C, PHP and Cobol. But thats' the limit due to my age.
:-)
Regards to all of you
PL Lamballais
