note 31617 added to function.nl2br

hi all, here is how i finally managed: $z1 = ereg_replace("[^A-Za-z0-9 \\n\\r\n\\r]", "", $z1); $z1 = preg_replace("/(\r\n|\n|\r)/", "<br>", $z1); THX for the tips that lead to that! I just had to make sure that the \r, \n or \r\n were allowed in the first place... of course that would help someone who had this feature in mind, for a comment field especially. -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.nl2br.php http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+31617 http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+31617 http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+31617
