Anyone got any ideas how I can synchronise two databases on two database servers?
I run mysql 3.23.55 on my own machine (http://andycc2.no-ip.com) and mysql 4.0.12 on my website host
(http://www.andycc.net).
As my own machine is not always connected to the Net (and I only spend a couple of hours on a day),
I do all my development off-line, but my website host database gets updated from now and then (as
its an online shop), but if I back the local one up and then run the backup on the remote server, it
overwrites any changes that are on the remote database.
Any ideas how I can create a script to see what has changed in each database and then update these
changes in each database so the local is identical to the remote, without losing any existing data
in each?
Cheers
Andy
