If you're using Microsoft FrontPage for creating PHP-enabled web pages, keep the following in
mind:
FP _will_ screw up some PHP code, especially when mixing PHP and HTML (as you often will in echo
statements), because of it's built-in HTML error correcting routine. The way to avoid this is
putting webbot tags around your PHP code:
<!--webbot bot="HTMLMarkup" startspan -->
<?php
echo "<img src=\"$image\" width=\"$width\"
height=\"height\">\n";
?>
<!--webbot bot="HTMLMarkup" endspan -->
This forces FrontPagfe to skip the error checking for the enclosed section, and your PHP will show
up in the WYSIWYG editing mode as a little yellow box with a question mark in it.
