note 31936 added to function.session-name

HI I am a newbie to php and I like the language. I have written a number of small applications, but seesions and php is apparently a mystery to me. What I want is a login that sets a session if a login is correct and then check on everypage is the user is valid and if not then redirect to the loginpage with an error message.
