When going to thru proxy server a previous email gave an excellent example but the http request was
missing somethings
This worked for me.
fputs($fp, "GET ".$url." HTTP/1.0 r\n\r\n");
Note the \r\n\r\n on the end of the request.
Hope this helps someone else.
