I decided to take the brute force approach to get the session vars out:
function SessionStringToArray( $string )
{
$temp = $_SESSION;
session_decode( $string );
$sess_array = $_SESSION;
$_SESSION = $temp;
return $sess_array;
}
Seems to work without messing up the current session at all.
