Note that chris@owta.net's example is not entirely fullproof when using error_reporting( E_ALL
).
If $HTTP_POST_VARS['element'] is not set it will generate a warning. You must check every
referenced element in an array for existence.
eg.
if (!isset($HTTP_POST_VARS['element']))
{
# do stuff
}
