I try to check imagesize from images wanting to be displayed on my guestbook, because I don't
want the images too big. Works OK with most images, but somehow imagesize cannot check the size of
some images. I think it might be because the address is https:// instead of
the regular http:// or because it are animated gifs. Can anybody help how to
check those images?

(( function file_exists returns false but, typing the URL directly in the address bar, makes the
image to be displayed))
