The above example doesn't work when you're parsing a string being returned from a curl operation (why I don't know!) I kept getting undefined offsets at the highest element number in both the start and end element functions. It wasn't the string itself I know, because I substringed it to death with the same results. But I fixed the problem by adding these lines of code... function defaultHandler($parser, $name) { global $depth; @ $depth[$parser]--; } xml_set_default_handler($xml_parser, "defaultHandler"); Hope this helps 8-} ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.xml.php Edit Note -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+32219 Delete Note -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+32219&report=yes Reject Note -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+32219&report=yes
