If you need to work with a mix of "off" and "on" of register_globals during a transistion period, you can do a test prior to execute any script, making old code work with a heading script like this: if (Test to pass during transition){  foreach($_GET as $var=>$value){   $variable=$var;   $$variable=$value;  }  foreach($_POST as $var=>$value){   $variable=$var;   $$variable=$value;  } } Beware that using this will not protect your old scripts, so use it only during a transitional period!
