It's not true that "one of the easier ways is to locate a preconfigured package," at
least for Linux. At least two of the people advertised as having Linux packages of everything
don't, and one of them send you surly notes saying what the helldo you want from me, or words
to that effect.
Best to do it yourself: it can't take as long as the half day I wasted trying to find a
preconfigured package."
