The manual errata system is intended for submissions of text to be included in the manual, not as a question-and-answer forum. Nobody really reads the manual errata looking for questions to answer, whereas the list is read by thousands. :) Please make sure to read the instructions at http://www.php.net/manual/add-note.php before adding another note. As to your question--I think it would rather depend on what kind of parsing/processing you mean.
