WOW, its very good!
My php version don't suport FTP_CHMOD and i can take this other way....chmod() function on
filesystem don't set chmod because web user no have access on my server.
Look it...
$ftp_server='ftp.urhost.xxx';
$conn_id = ftp_connect($ftp_server);
ftp_chdir($conn_id,"./ur/path/here/"); //change dir to set chmod on correct directory
ftp_site($conn_id, "CHMOD 777 $dir"); //the 777 mode can have all permissions, set ur own.
The $dir is path to set modes
