i have this script to assign a velu to some vars: if($lang==' ' ) { $lang='en'; } else { $lang='es'; } This var cal a dir name to select images from two languages when passed with ?lang=$lang then i call the $lang var with <? echo $lang; ?> when the page is charged the first time its works "en" but when i try with ?lang=es it doesn't send the $lang var to change on the call tag. It works on windows with apache2+php4 but not on linux 9 with apache 1.3.27+php4 why? the is something on my php.ini that i need to change or what? ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/language.variables.php Edit Note -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+32963 Delete Note -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+32963&report=yes Reject Note -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+32963&report=yes
