note 8531 added to mhash

I couldn't figure out how to make this work so I figured others might have the same problem. Here's an example: <? echo bin2hex(mHash(MHASH_SHA1, "This will be hashed")); ?> If you don't change it from binary to hex (bin2hex), you might have problems saving it in a database later on because of the use quotes, etc.. The hashes you can use (if I'm not wrong) are: MHASH_MD5 MHASH_SHA1 MHASH_HAVAL MHASH_RIPEMD160 MHASH_RIPEMD128 MHASH_SNEFRU MHASH_TIGER MHASH_GOST MHASH_CRC32 MHASH_CRC32B http://www.php.net/manual/function.mhash.php
