i have a problem with installing the php mysql extension... i have compiled it with the packages
that are available on sunfreeware on a sparc solaris 9.
during the compilation it complains about the php4_module not being defined in mysql.so. it creates
the shared library, but it doesn't work...
i have the following components installed, which all work seperately.
apache 1.3.27
mysql 3.23.53
php 4.3.2
only php-to-mysql doesn't work...
also installed the following packages from sunfreeware: bison flex perl coreutils gcc gawk libtool
m4 make openssl sed zlib. perhaps anyone else know of this same problem?
