Dear all,
I am typing this mail from here, because link above "Click here to request a feature." is
connected to http://bugs.php.net.
Please apologise me :)
STORY:
I have had to made some portion of the PHP code which should work with binary files (to stay in
clear PHP environment).
Because until today there is no function which is working on pure binary files (except fread() which
gets full file to memory) I had prepared special function called fgetsbin().
This function returns data in the fgets() style, but doesn't look on the EOF character.
It was simple job - small changes in fgets and php_streams, but I am not sure if in one, small
portion of the code everything is correct, because I don't know all of the
PHP-source/methods/objects and their role.
Please let me know, how to send changes and to whom, to publish this solution which can be usefull
(I have seen some workarounds solution, near files routines comment in Documentation section).
Before publishing I would like to be sure if everything is correct.
With best regards
Mariusz Dec
