note 33442 added to function.mssql-select-db

My database name was datab-f5
and therefore I used like this
mssql_select_db ('datab-f5', $link)
but I got a message that database not found
and then I changed my database with the name datab and it worked....I think using a '-'
would deter the detection of a database 's name
