note 2499 deleted from phpinfo by jmcastagnetto

i'd like to write the output of phpinfo() to a file in a situation where i need to see the environment vars from a script that returns no document; in this case a script handling a PUT request. as this function returns an int, fwrite(phpinfo()) writes '1' to the file. by itself, the function writes to the return document.
