The following:
unset( $_SESSION['variable'], $variable );
did not work for me either in PHP 4.2, however not wanting to use session_unregister() since the
manual explicitly tells me not to, I tried:
unset($GLOBALS['variable']);
unset($_SESSION['variable']);
and this worked. So perhaps we do not need session_unregister() after all!
