I'm having trouble with php crashing when imagecreatefromjpeg tried to use certain jpeg images.
I guess they're corrupted in some way but still have the jpeg mime type so checking the image
type isn't helping. I saw the solution posted above using the system call to jpegtopnm but
I'm looking for a cleaner way of checking for this without having to go through that mess.
Does anybody know of a way to check if imagecreatefromjpeg will crash php before actually calling
it? It will really help me a lot. Thanks in advance.
