When ever I try to compile PHP 4.3.2 on solaris 8, I get the following error:
ld: fatal: file ext/ctype/ctype.lo: unknown file type
ld: fatal: File processing errors. No output written to .libs/libphp4.so
make: *** [libphp4.la] Error 1
Does anyone know, what is causing it.
I am using apache2.7.
