Loading of extensions on WIN XP still a hassle.
Apache2 + php 4.3.2 shows all the "unable to load php_*.dll" problems stated here &
elsewhere.
I installed a pretty clean machine (no old php code involved).
I copied all the external dlls to my %SYSTEMROOT%
I start Apache2 without extensions and everything works fine.
I open php.ini to include the mbstring and gd2 - extensions and when I restart Apache I get the
notorious complaints.
After having spent more than 2 days with scanning web logs & reinstallations I am fed up with
this now.
I decided to resort on my hope that the php devs will find the time to create a really validated
php-bundle for WIN some day.
