Converting Hungarian ( as Central-European ) caracters:
to uppercase:
echo( strtoupper(strtr($txt,"íéáûõúöüó","ÍÉÁÛÕÚÖÜÓ")) );
to lowercase:
echo( strtolower(strtr($txt,"íéáûõúöüó","ÍÉÁÛÕÚÖÜÓ")) );
where $txt is the text to be converted and printed.
The characterlist parameters of strstr function are extendable.
However the setlocale (LC_ALL, 'hu_HU') could be nice.
...Could be. ;-)
