Although it is deprecated (sp?), you can use elseif like this:
if (whatever) {
yeah...
} else if (yum) {
hey, this works too!
} elseif (this) {
this is best to use
} else {
boo hoo no matches :(
}
Not sure on the exact PHP versions that support this, but it does indeed work.
