Trying to read the names of directories contained in another directory i used if (filesize($file)==0) to check if those current "file" was a directory...that worked fine running under Windows with Wampp but didn't work in any way running under Linux/Apache on my Webspace. So Windows tells you the directory size is 0 (at least using NTFS..don't know if it's the same case using FAT32). Seems the "problem" is caused by the case that NTFS has a MFT which contains all the information about folders and files. So don't be as stupid as me ;) ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.filesize.php Edit Note -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+34504 Delete Note -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+34504&report=yes Reject Note -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+34504&report=yes
