note 34544 added to function.mssql-connect

I am trying to get PHP to connect to MSSQL on windows 2000 server but i get the following error repeatedly. My PHP 4.3.2 installation is correct as i am able to view the PHPINFO() in my web brower. Following is the error listing X-Powered-By: PHP/4.2.1 Content-type: text/html <br /> <b>Fatal error</b>: Call to undefined function: mssql_connect() in <b>C:\PHP\ConectMSSQL.php</b> on line <b>3</b><br /> I have checked my php.ini and have updated MDAC and have also made all the reqd DLLS available to php but still this error keeps on coming.
