similiar to what 'simon at kcodata dot dk' mentioned, $message would become truncated
before a long line, sending only a partial email.
if building a decent amount of html through loops, make sure to put breaks in your $message while
building it. worked like a charm for me.
// don't do:
for ($i=1;$i < 999; $i++) { $message .= "<tr>..</tr>"; }
// please try:
for ($i=1;$i < 999; $i++) { $message .= "<tr>..</tr>
"; } // <----- note break here
