I was trying to use a variable for the "format" property of date() in a function where I
wanted to return different date formats, and I got an "unexpected error." Which means,
unless I am mistaken, that you can't use variables for the "format" property, you
must specify a string.
Something to keep in mind.
(I'm using PHP 4.3.0.)
