Can someone tell me how I can get the EXIF tag? I'm using an ISP which has configured PHP with
GD Extensions. I didn't tried them but phpinfo() tells me that they are installed. When I try
to call exif_read_data() function PHP returns with "Call to undefined function:
exif_read_data()...". What can I do?
Is it possible to install ImageMagick which contains command line tools which are able to read /
write comments to an image via EXIF. the problem is that I even don't know the exact plattform
of the server (seems to be a kind of unix). I only see a CGI-Directory when I FTP-Login...
I would then try to execute them with exec() or similar and parse the output afterwards...
IDEA:make a dynamic gallery with thumbnails and comments WITHOUT extra Database which whould be more
complicated. php would read directories, look for files with a defined naming convention, make
thumbnails, read comment, etc., WITHOUT DB.
thanks for help...
