After some double checking, I realised that in fact $HTTP_RAW_POST_DATA is a variable on its own. In
fact, as
philip@php.net says:
"This variable does not live in $_SERVER or any superglobal for that matter. It's its own
variable.
The documentation is being worked out as there is still a question on when this variable should
exist."
