If your using an earlier version of PHP (< 4.3.0) you could use this function to get the same result (kinda like the one above only a little different) function file_get_contents($filename) { if (!file_exist($filename)) die('File :'.$filename.' does not exist!'); return implode("", file($filename)); } Hope this helps.
