Using PHP4.3.2 ISAPI /IIS5.1/WinXP Pro, I have a problem I've tried to fix for 2 weeks.
I use some code like this:
Page 1:
<?php
session_start();
session_register("fabien");
$fabien = "goofy";
header("location: page2.php");
?>
Page2:
<?php
session_start();
echo "value: " . $fabien;
?>
and it doesn't work. If I upload the code to my Linux/Apache server, it works fine.
Every time I hit Page 2 from IE 6, it creates a new session file on the server!?!! Each session
file contains the variable and its value. I have reviewed the PHP.INI numerous times and I
can't see anything that could be wrong.
Cookies are enabled on client, etc. I don't know what to do...
Anyone?
Thanks in advance.
Fabien
