I am trying to run a php script in a terminal window on my server to run 24/7 for a timelapse jpg
capturer. I find that after about 20 minutes it crashes my whole system. I find that after reading
all of these posts I think my code failes to close the socket connection after connecting resulting
in a mass of open sockets or something and at some point I can't access the computer at all. I
was wondering if anybody has tried using php as a standalone script that runs all the time and has
had serious crash problems especially using fsocket.
