In my case, using OCI8 under Unix (Solaris2.7), the global variable TNS_ADMIN must be set to the
directory containing 'tnsnames.ora' prior to connecting to the base:
putenv('ORACLE_HOME=/.../oracle');
putenv('TNS_ADMIN=/.../oracle/network/admin');
$idDB = OCILogon( $User,$Psw,$SIDalias );
Otherwise, an error ORA-12154 is generated.
