Instead of trying the OCIFetchStatement and/or doing a query twice, here is what worked for me.
<pre>
while (ocifetch($stmt)) {
...
echo ociresult($stmt,"COLUMNNAME");
...
}
$q=OCIRowCount($stmt);
if(!$q){
echo "Try Again";
}
</pre>
